How We Work

We partner with conservation and environmental organizations, First Nations, governments and industry groups to advance conservation and to create sustainable solutions for the Boreal Forest. We undertake policy development, research projects and support on-the-ground conservation planning and sustainable resource management activities.

CBI works with the Boreal Leadership Council. CBI serves as the Council's secretariat, and works with members to expand endorsement of the Boreal Forest Conservation Framework in key sectors; generate on-the-ground examples of the Framework principles in action; and create opportunities with governments to be engaged and active participants.
