Call for nominations

The Canadian Boreal Initiative invites nominations for the 2012 Boreal Awards, celebrating passionate innovators working for sustainable solutions for Canada’s Boreal Forest. Submit your nomination today for forward-thinking, creative, and collaborative leaders.

Criteria for the Boreal Awards include:

• Active concern for the Boreal forest;
• Consistent responsibility in environmental practices;
• Determination and commitment to conservation and ecological protection; and,
• Innovation in actions and solutions.

Eligible nominees include individuals, Aboriginal groups and leaders, governments, industry representatives, communities, and non-government organizations.

Nominations are now open and the field is strong; submit your nomination today!
